Hello again, friends. Thanks for sticking with us for another week. of quarantine. We love our loyal fans, and pray that you soon have something more exciting to do than read about our silly adventures.
This week brought forth many exciting moments for Anna and me. Duh... We live exciting lives... Seriously, we are very blessed with great families, tremendous friends, and a rich faith journey.
We are prayerful that the plague will soon subside, as Anna and I are ready to resume non-virtual relationships. Believe it or not, I prefer to see you in person, rather than through this computer box. Nonetheless, cheers to sharing some more memories with y'all, and encouraging you to... I don't know... go outside or something. Just have fun, love much, and live well!
It's Anna, here! Just popping in to say... well I don't know what. I am fresh out of content. But we are happy to have you along for the journey!!!! I am real ready for things to be back, and I am feeling a rebel emerge from within. We trying to keep her at bay.
For fun, you can create your "quarantine warrior name" as my Dad calls it by combining the last thing you ate with your high school mascot... Greg's was quesadilla indian. Mine was plantain rebel.

Status Update: as of this evening, my new quarantine warrior name is "Kabob Indian"... My name keeps getting stronger and stronger with each meal.
G: Anna asked me, "how do I get smart?" Naturally, I said, "ya gotta get sum glasses" . She was already smart, so now she's a nerd.... But a seriously cute one :p
A: That is literally all fake news. However it dawned on me that if the world ends or like... I go camping and run out of contacts a pair of glasses would be a good move. So, here's to getting use to new lenses and a new face and overcoming the feeling of being absolutely drunk while wearing them.
G; I'll concede to that truth. The main point is... She Purdy.
G: Tacos, anybody? Ain't nothing quite like unauthentic american mexican food. It's really the best comfort food, right? Golly I love tacos.
A: Hence why they are our wedding food... Truth be told... Not sure how to make these partially cooked corn tortillas. They always turn out a bit too crispy. Oh whale.
G: April showers bring May flowers... That's what "they" say. Seems to me like april showers bring inches of snow and handfulls of tylenol. Definitely skipped my workout this day, Cheers to praying for summertime.
A: This was not the first driveway Greg shoveled that day. Cheers (also) to having basically two homes. We cannot wait to be married. Greg... especially cannot wait. In fact, some might say he is a bit angsty.
G: How do the hip people say it these days... Something like #goals ??? How's my hipster slang? Did I do it right? Tell me in the comments. I can handle the truth.
A: Give me a pantsless Applegate crew singing their hearts out and making up lyrics every dang day of the week. I was able to do a little music ministry with Josh this week, but truly this was the real show. Look at lil Eli. He never moved. The whole time. Just sat like that.
G: Praise and worship music, paired with the company of a holy and beautiful family! This is a slice of heaven on earth! Cheers to the applegate family for being such great models of faith, fellowship, and fun!
A: I wanna be just like Lisa when I grow up. Also, when asking how Greg liked the music, Gianna said "He was mostly checking emails and stuff." BUSTED.
G: Whoops :/
G: Another friend is gettin' marriaged... Big congrats to Maddie and Marcus! Prayers for your engagement and know that we are extremely excited to celebrate with you in 2021!
A: This was the heckin CUTEST. So excited for these friends of ours. Maddie's creativity is killer. Also, dawned on me that there is a slight chance I could be pregnant by the time I am in this wedding. That'll freak a Greg out.
G: Can't say much about this one... I'm not allowed to see any of this stuff... I am required to patiently wait until the date noted above..... so much waiting.... are we there yet?!?
A: This veil was handmade by one of Greg's family members... and it is the most simplistic beautiful thing. All yall suckers can see it in August. Not sorry.
G: How bout now... are we there?!?
G: Our beloved ice cream destination "dairy delight" is currently closed due to the recent happenings revolved around the covids disease. We settled for dairy queen this evening. Dairy delight will make a strong comeback... You can take our ice cream, covids, but you can't steal our joy! We will win!!!
A: This was me living my childhood. Medium Mint Oreo Blizzard... am I gluten intolerant? Yep. This quarantine is really bringing out the rebel in me.
G: Pulling espresso shots will never get old... anyone want coffee?
A: Repeat concept, new cup. Still pretty. Still yummy. In honor of Rachel's birthday. The best national holiday, April 18th.
G: Anna has a friend who was born on April 18th. On this day, at her request, it is appropriate to wear something yellow, and consume a potato meal. Cheers to you, rachel. I am glad you were born.
A: He looks so happy.... I promise he was really enjoying himself. Greg has been doing this thing lately where he just glares a lot and is surprised to see how much he was glaring... because nothing was wrong.
G: Apparently my resting face is an angry one... I promise I'm a happy guy. I really am...
G: Couples night this week was, "Sips and Paint". We all grabbed a beverage, and some painting supplies and voyaged into the creative liberties of the night... What you're witnessing above was the preparation period. Wine, Whiskey, and Ice cream. The best way to begin a couples date night.
A: Wine and coffee gelato... one might think we were emotional eating. One might be right. Mostly we were just enjoying ourselves.
G: I have this guilty pleasure... I like painting cows. I proposed to Anna with a cow I painted named Ruby... Given the current times, I felt it was appropriate to name this new cow, "Rona". It short for "Corona". Shamelessly, I smile when I look at cow paintings. It makes me feel happy.
A: Greg's most endearing trait is that when he paints a cow painting, he loves it so much that he wants to show everyone and tell everyone and look at it all the time. That is the kind of confidence and joy we need, people. Like Greg... and his.. cow.. paintings..
G: Here's my company logo... Shameless plug? maybe.... Don't try to look me up... I'm on the 4th page of google.. not worth your time.
A: ^ Aaaaaand just like that the confidence is gone.
G: There's a fine line tween confidence and pride.

G: Kid Drawings!!!!! Anna received these in the mail today... She is loved by many, because she loves so much!
A: APPLEGAAAAATES. Not 100% sure what is happening in the green one. BUT the blue one is me wake surfing behind a boat. If I was a betting man, I would say the green one is boat related as well. Fridge art.
G: Kabobs might be one of the most underrated foods... ever... of all time... These little meat sticks are packed full of flavor and delight. First person to comment below gets a free invite for a Kabob night with me and anna!
A: Greg... "I'm inviting friends." Its a good thing I am feeling so rebellious lately. Greg is a master meat cooker and dang good at sauce-makin. I am a lucky lady. Also, my tummy literally will NOT stop making noises as we write this. So, you know it was good.
G: I'd like to point out that I only referred to myself as "giggy" once in this post.
Thanks, yall, for taking the time again to read about our little joys. We are saddened to not be able to share much of it in person, but we are excited to once again convene after the covids has run its course.
We pray yall are bein safe, and we look forward to our next human encounter with you. Also, gotta say it... The guy in the green sweatshirt is one lucky dude... That miss anna gal is one fine catch.
